First DualDocker system in Sicily

A party following the successful installation of the first DualDocker system in Sicily took place on Thursday last week. Yacht owner Mario, his family and friends were celebrating together with Michael, Andreas, Salvatore and Andrea from the DualDocker Team.
Ciro 2 is berthed in Marina di San Nicola in Palermo/Sicily/Italy, surrounded by the old fortress and the Sicilian mountains. With her 48 foot and 19 tons of weight she is perfectly suited for the DualDocker. The distance to the pier has been determined at a convenient 70 cm and wind simulation tests (with a motorised tender pushing the bow with about 100 kg - resulting in a force of 200 kg at midship) have impressively shown the crowd how stable Ciro 2 now lies at her berth.
