OUR VISIONSVision - 1 Vision - 2 The DualDocker will - due to its high standard of safety and stability - become the 'docking standard' in hurricane-struck locations. Time frame for realisation: 2011 to 2013 What do you think about our vision? Vision - 3 Development of 'DualDocker-parallel' to make docking alongside easier and safer. Present situation: Especially big yachts often dock alongside. Disadvantage: The yacht constantly pushes against the fenders. With the movement of the water or wind the fenders squeal and rub against the pier. Docking manoevre: The docking manoevre with the DualDocker will be the same as without. After that though, the yacht will be secured with two short DualDocker arms and kept at a constant distance from the pier. Advantages of 'DualDocker - parallel': The yacht lies with a constant distance of 0,7 m from the pier. The shock absorbers absorb the energy created by wind and waves. The yacht does not move and there is no more fender noise. The combination DualDocker & padlock protects the yacht from being untied or stolen altogether. We would like to offer a safe and convenient docking system for yachts up to 70'. Construction and operation are based on the standard DualDocker, the different elements will be even stronger. The basic concept and dimensioning are on the drawing board. We have not started the realisation so far, though. It is our aim to position the standard DualDocker on the market first and use the feedback we get to further improve the DualDocker.
